Officially Off Bedrest!

So I am officially off of bedrest. My doctor's appt. went really well today. First of all the baby looks great. Measuring 9 weeks 1 day which is exactly right and the heart rate was 179 bmp. We were able to see the hands and feet, you can kinda see it on the photo, and the baby would move every time I laughed. The first thing the ultrasound tech said was "Look how fat it is!" Ha. We already knew that.lol It was absolutely amazing to see the baby move and made everything so real. I was so nervous going in there and I really thought I was gonna pass out but once she told me everything looked great I just cried and felt this huge weight lift off of me. It was amazing. And seeing Daniel's face was priceless!

On another note the cysts are still there but they have shrunk enough to where he is no longer concerned about them. He told me that everything was looking great and on track so I think we may actually do it this time.

Also I'm thinkin that with the heart rate at 179bpm and my having been so sick we are gonna have a girl. What do you think?

Here are the pictures. In the first on you can kinda see a foot and a hand and the umbilical cord is the long thing at the bottom. The white speck in the middle of the body is the heart. The baby is kinda on its head. lol

It's been a while!

Sorry it has been so long since I posted. Things have been crazy. I don't even know where to start. I guess I'll start with Friday. It was mine and Daniel's 5 year anniversary and of course I was extra sick that day. (I have been EXTREMELY sick but I will talk more on that later). Well I had been taking Zofran all day which was not helping and I wasn't keeping anything down. Daniel and I had plans to go out to dinner that night and I had no idea how I was gonna do it. But I was determined to go even if I had to take my bucket. There was however one point in the day when I thought I was gonna have to cancel because I could not even lift my head. But at the last minute I was able to get ready and go. I had some family and friends that had given me some ideas to try so I decided to try some. On the way to the restaurant we stopped at CVS and bought some Sea Band Nausea bracelets and some peppermint. The bracelets really didn't work and the peppermint helps a little while I am sucking on it. Well I ended up making it through dinner thankfully. We ate at Charles Anthony's in Montgomery. Before we went in to the restaurant Daniel gave me my gift. He totally shocked me because I really had no idea that we were doing gifts. I mean I had not been able to get out and buy him anything, I even had to write him a letter instead of giving a card. Anyway he gave me a really nice digital picture frame. I have been wanting one for a while and thought he had forgotten. I really really like it and was super excited. So I was feeling ok when we left the restaurant so we went to Kohl's for just a short while so that Daniel could buy some church shoes (which i guess counts as his present and I know I was breaking the rules by not being on bed rest). We came straight home afterward and read our cards and I got back in my recliner and set my photos up. It was good all in all, I mean it wasn't as big a celebration as we had planned on for our 5 year but having a baby is so worth it. I am just so thankful that I am married to such an amazing Christian man. I could not ask for better. We have been through so much in our 5 years but it has only brought us closer. I can't wait to have many more years with him!

So next, I have been soooooooooooooo sick. I am so thankful for it though. It's probably a good thing that I have been on bed rest because I don't think I would be getting up much. I have SEVERE nausea 24/7 and throw up several times a day. Even when I think I have nothing to throw up I have dry heaves. At some points I get so dizzy that I can't stand up. Even though I am stay nausea I still get cravings which is not good. I get a craving for something and I either change my mind once I smell it or I eat it and then throw it up. Not great. Last night was not a good night. To start off I went to worship yesterday morning which went good but I decided to stay for the fellowship meal. Not a great decision. I picked at some food but the smell of he food and seeing everyone else eating was not great. We left pretty quickly and I stayed sick the rest of the afternoon. Well after my nap I decided that I was craving fancy bread with butter. Random I know. Well I sent Daniel to the store to get it and he decided that he wanted garlic butter with spaghetti sauce and cheese. It didn't sound horrible but when he melted the garlic butter it sent me running to the toilet. I ended up laying on the bed with the window open and the fan blowing in my face just so I didn't smell it and wouldn't throw up again. Well then randomly I got it in my head that I wanted some Bar B Q. It was an intense craving. I mean I had to have it!! So at 8 pm last night Daniel and I were riding to Country's to pick up my food. I got home and ate it and it satisfied me but only for about 5 min. cause it all came right back up. So I am pretty much getting zero nutrition other than my vitamin. It's a good thing the baby doesn't require much in the first trimester. I have lost 7 lbs so far and and sure to lose more before the sickness goes away. I will be 9 weeks on Wed. so I have a few more weeks of it at least.
And last but certainly not least please keep us in your prayers on Thurs. This is when we go in for our ultrasound to see if the cysts have shrunk and also to check on the baby. Like I have said before this is a big ultrasound for us because our baby stopped growing at 8 weeks last time so to see a heartbeat this time will be beyond words. I will try to update tomorrow. Hope everyone has a great week!

Ultrasound Pics!

This one is at 6 weeks. You can't really see the baby yet but the heartrate was 94. It had just started beating so I guess that is why it was a little low.

The next few are at 6 weeks 5 days. The heart rate was 124.

On these next two the big black circle to the right is one of my cysts. Huge right?

Hanging in there

Still on Bed rest. I did however get to get out for a bit yesterday. I went to worship yesterday morning and then went out to eat with my family for Mother's Day. It went pretty good. I was extremely tired afterward and I am definitely feeling it today. Other than the random nose bleed that sent me hurrying to the bathroom the dinner went fine. I wasn't even nauseated. Which of course has me worrying a little as always. I went from being sick 24/7 to having pretty much no nausea for the past couple days. I am really hoping it comes back soon cause I always heard that was a bad sign. As bad as it makes you feel pregnancy sickness has been my friend. It helps me feel like things are going well. I have 10 more days til my ultrasound...still nervous about that one. This will be a pretty big ultrasound for us because I will be 9 weeks and 1 day and our baby stopped growing at 8 weeks last time. And hopefully the cysts have gotten smaller so that I can get off of bed rest. Anyway I am going to try to post the ultrasound pictures that we have so far later today. Hope everyone has a great Monday!

My Pregnancy so far

So there have been alot of updates about things to be worried about so I thought I would write about other things. I am 7 weeks pregnant today and feeling every bit of it. I have 24 hour nausea yet I stay starving. When I do eat I usually lose it or have to spend a couple hours laying completely still and concentrating really hard on not puking. This is all while taking Zofran every 6 hours. I have already lost 3 lbs and I am sure it would be tons more with out the Zofran. But that's OK cause I have plenty to spare. Food pretty much sounds gross to me at all times. The only things that don't sound absolutely horrible is sweets. I pretty much am living on Krispy Kreme donuts and Gatorade. Anything salty or sour makes me sick to even think about. This is totally uncharacteristic for me too. I'm usually the opposite and with the last pregnancy I could not get enough pickle juice and salt and vinegar chips. I just thought I was sick last time...this has been so much worse. Last time I threw up alot but it was random and I felt fine all the rest of the time. This time I am sick ALL DAY LONG!
I am also more tired than I have ever been in my life. Way worse than last time. That's why this bed rest thing hasn't been too horrible.
I have already started showing just like last time. I guess I am just destined to show early. I wore my last pair of fat pants to the doctor on Monday and they were tight so I am now having to transition into maternity. I don't mind though because maternity is soooo comfy.
My mom comes over during the day to help out and Daniel has nights.I'm keeping myself on bed rest until the next ultrasound. I've read that helps so we will see. I am gonna get out of the house for a little while to go to worship Sunday morning but other than that I'll be laid up. Hope everyone is having a good week!

One thing after another!

So I went in for my appt. today and was able to go ahead and have my ultrasound today too. Good thing. First of the baby looks great! The heartbeat was 124 which is good I am told and my due date is Dec. 23. The subchorionic bleed had shrunk and is no longer a threat according to my doc. Now we have something completely different to worry about. I was found to have 2 very large cysts on my right ovary. He said they were not the largest he had ever seen but they were the largest he had seen in a while. I'm not sure about the size. Any he has to keep a close eye on them because, with them being so big, they could twist causing ovarian torsion. This is extremely painful and would end with me having surgery to remove my ovary. This is on top of being pregnant which would put the baby at risk. He said there is absolutely nothing we can do but wait it out. No treatment. We just have to hope that they dissolve on their own. So in the meantime he has taken me off of complete bedrest, even though I am going to keep myself on it to some extent, at least until the next ultrasound. I go back on May 21st for another ultrasound to see if they have shrunk. So please pray that I don't have any complications from these. He said if they shrink, that there will be no harm to me or the baby so that's good.

I am just so frustrated now. I mean it seems like everytime we go we get something new to worry about. I'm so stressed out and so is Daniel. I am thankful that the heartbeat looked good and things are good with the baby however. So prayers are getting answered!

Quick Update!

Just wanted to update everyone on the latest. I talked to the doctor's office today and I have an appointment on Monday at 1:45. I am a work in so there is no telling how long we will be there. So we will know more about how long I will be on bedrest, how big the bleed is, and what comes next. Please continue to keep us in your prayers. It has only been a few days and i am already going insane so it should be interesting. Thanks for all the prayers so far.
